Rahul Venkit is a Brussels-based strategic communications consultant with 26 years of cross-sector experience in security and defence, public health, climate, energy, digital communications and journalism. He is currently Communications & Visibility Expert on ESIWA+, the EU's security cooperation programme with Asia and the Indo-Pacific, where he grew social media following and online impressions five-fold in two years.

His client history includes the World Health Organization, FIPRA Public Affairs, the Commonwealth Secretariat and the International Diabetes Federation. Earlier, he reported from Brussels for Xinhua News Agency and from Beijing for China Radio International, and has been a freelance correspondent for NDTV, covering the Brussels terror attacks and the coup attempt in Turkey.

Outside the institutional world, he founded Confluence Allstars and the Brussels Bollywood Choir, work recognised by the Europe India Centre for Business & Industry in its 2022 EuropeIndia40 class. He is the English translator and voice of the Geo History channel, now past one million subscribers.

He has worked in six countries and works in English, French, Hindi and Marathi.
